Don't worry your vegetables aren't coming to attack you. If you're scratching your head wondering what the title of this post means, don't worry you aren't alone. I received the same words as a subject header in my Facebook (yes, I'm on the bandwagon and you should be too. I'm a pusher.) inbox from the folks at Green Drinks Charleston. Because I don't like being confused, which is happening frequently these days, I decided to investigate further. I headed over to Carrotmob.org and this is what I found out.
Basically a Carrotmob is a reverse boycott. Businesses are rewarded for making socially, and environmentally, responsible decisions by consumers who make purchases in their store on a given day. There is a bit of competitiveness between businesses but I'll let you head on over to the site to see for yourself.
