Litter Busters Hotline

If you see someone littering from a vehicle or if trash blows off the back of a truck bed, you can report it to the Litter Busters Hotline.

Call (877) 7-LITTER (or #LB from Alltel and AT&T phones). Ask for the Litter Busters Hotline. Give the operator the license tag, make and color of vehicle, time and location of the incident. If you know what the littered item was, you can give the operator that information as well. You do not have to give your name.

The information will be submitted to the S.C. Department of Public Safety and a courtesy letter about litter laws and fines will be sent to the vehicle’s owner.
